Academics

Joining a sorority in college is a life-changing experience, but garnering an education is the top priority for Kappa. This is why each chapter is expected to maintain academic standards equal to or higher than their university’s or college’s all-sorority GPA. Additionally, each chapter establishes a GPA requirement for active members.

If a Kappa struggles academically, we help her through it. The Academic Excellence Team meets with her to craft an improvement plan using study tactics and time management. We want each sister to leave college with what they came for: a degree.

Here at Delta Eta, academics are one of our highest priorities. As students at The University of Utah, we are committed to supporting one another both inside and outside of the classroom. Through group study sessions, quiet hours, academic mentorship, campus resources, and the constant encouragement of our sisters, our members are empowered to achieve their goals year after year. We strive to create an environment where women can excel academically while also building meaningful friendships and leadership skills that extend far beyond college.

Delta Eta has proudly been recognized for academic excellence throughout the years, including receiving the Highest Sorority GPA award multiple semesters. Our chapter has also been honored through a variety of leadership and chapter achievement awards that reflect the dedication and involvement of our members across campus and within the Panhellenic community.
